Level 3: Implementing a Standard DBT Program

Eligibility: 

  • Psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, mental health occupational therapists and general practitioners who have attended both days of the level 2 training.

What to expect:

  • Day 1 focuses on the steps in starting a standard DBT program. This includes the differences in running adult and adolescent program, the role of the referring person, phone coaching, scheduling, costs and billing.
  • Day 2 introduces the consult group as “therapy for the therapist” and time is spent towards the ensuring you have an implementation strategy.

Who is it for?

  • Psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, mental health occupational therapists and general practitioners who have attended both days of the level 2 training.
  • Mental health practitioners who wish to work as part of a team in implementing standard DBT in their practice, hospital or community paper writings.

How many CPD points do I get?

7 CPD points have been awarded per day. You will receive 14 points for attending both days.
